Custom Homes
For this particular project, I had to tear down and correct the previous stone. Standard regulations/codes had not been met previously and it needed some serious correction, not only for safety but to ensure duration of the stone/structure.  The house had not only been abandoned for years but left uncompleted and torn up. Finding matching stone was a difficult task as well as ensuring compliance measures to make sure my work followed stringent industry standards. This was completed on time and within budget. It’s a great example of my dedication to deliver a quality product and see it through from start to finish despite previous complications.
Our custom stone work truly stands the test of time. For years to come you will enjoy your new stone fireplace, walkway, concrete foundation, or other project you enlist us for.

Fireplace Construction
Fireplaces, Brick Ovens, indoor or outdoor- you name it. RMC has the best masons to provide your home with beautiful showcase work. We take pride in keeping our projects clean through out the entire process and completed in short times. With this particular project, the owners wanted a brick oven built to match their Tudor style home. They were hoping to entertain friends with it in one week. For the oven to match correctly it required special material that was used on the house 3 years earlier. RMC was able to locate this material in another state and coordinate delivery in time. So if you need that brick oven before the next big game, call us!

Chimney Repair
"It has been said a chimney without a cap is like a house without a roof."
Imagine how much water would come into your home during a rain/snow storm if you had a hole in your roof twelve inches square. Chimney flues may be even larger than that, so where does all that water go? It runs down the chimney and seeps into the bricks and mortar, settling behind the firebricks. There is little air circulation in the chimney (unless you're using it) and no sunlight, so the inside of the chimney stays wet long after the rain/snow stops. This moisture erodes the mortar joints and weakens the brick. With Boise's Snow-Ma-Gedden last year you have all the needed ingredients for a deteriorating chimney.
Take our word for it: even though you can't see the damage happening, it's there, slowly deteriorating your beautiful fireplace and chimney. This is a particularly important consideration if you have a metal firebox incorporating a metal damper and smoke shelf. All fireplace dampers made of metal are subject to this deterioration as the water mixes with creosote and mild acids are formed. Even chimneys serving woodstoves are in need of a cover.
